Learn & Earn - Finance Intern

Anticipated Start and End Dates:  September-December 2022 | Onsite Position
Job Address: 212 Northern Avenue Suite 305 Boston, MA 02210
Hours Per Week: 20+ hours preferred 
Preferred Days of Week: Monday-Friday | Flexible & Schedule TBD
Work Hours: Flexible 
Pay Rate and Travel Stipend:  $20 per hour and a one-time $240.00 Travel/Wi-Fi Stipend 
Internship Class: INT-299 Internship Class will be taken during Fall 2022 semester

**If chosen for an internship, you will take the three credit INT-299 Learn and Earn fall internship course (you pay for the course the same as all other courses). **

Job Description:

The Finance Intern will bring their academic knowledge and apply their skills in a professional work environment and report to the Accounting Manager. This internship position will allow for the intern to gain experience in the following areas.
  • All aspects of the Accounting Cycle
  • Financial Modeling and Analysis
  • Auditing
  • Internal
  • Bank
  • Year End Audit
  • Budgeting 
  • Financial Reporting
  • Special projects as needed

Basic Qualifications:
An ideal candidate for this position will have:
  • Accounting or Finance Concentration
  • Excellent organizational & communication skills 
  • Ability to work in a high volume and fast paced environment
  • Ability to work as a team as well as alone
  • Computer knowledge with an expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
